NFU Mutual reposition themselves in Basingstoke
The upper ground floor of offices within the Vantage building in Basingstoke is to return to the market through BDT and joint agents, Hollis Hockley.
NFU Mutual have exercised a break clause and will look to relocate and downsize operations before August 2013. Indications are that they will downsize into alternative office space at Dummer on Junction 7 of the M3 motorway.
Vantage is owned by Fishron Ltd, a joint business venture between Lamron Estates and TA Fisher. The building is positioned in the “top of town” commercial district, in Victoria Street, with excellent visibility to New Road and New Street, which essentially forms an inner one-way system around the town centre.
Richard Thomas at BDT will bring the single floor of just under 6,000 back to the market at a quoting rent of £15.00 psf. The remainder of the building is occupied by the large accountancy firm RSM Tenon.
