MAJOR NEW OFFICE INSTRUCTION FOR BDT

bdt have been appointed by Gort Properties Ltd to market quality office and R & D accommodation at The Crescent in Basingstoke.

The scheme was constructed on the Viables Business Park in the late 1980’s when Basingstoke was in one of its early growth transitions. The entire 100,000 development was let to Digital Equipment Company. That lease has now expired and ownership of the asset has changed hands.

Gort Properties have relet approximately 60% of the scheme to medical company, Carefusion Ltd, and are now concentrating efforts on the remaining space.

Blocks A & C both offer space over two floors, the ground floor of which could be used for either office space, R & D, light production, low height storage or laboratory space.  Floor areas range from 10,475 through to a two storey self-contained Block of circa 21,500 , or a combination of two buildings comprising 43,283 .

The joint agency team will be quoting £12.50 psf, whilst business rates are approximately £4.20 psf pa. The on site parking ratio is an attractive one space per 250 .
