Specialist Life Insurance brokers, Reassured Ltd are poised to move their offices from Alton to Basingstoke in the latest transaction on the Basing View business area.

Their enquiry emerged with bdt at the beginning of the year, and consequently their property consultant was introduced to the marketing team at Bizspace, who themselves were new owners of Belvedere House at the time.

A letting for a period of 5 years, with break clause options has subsequently been agreed between the Parties. The 1st floor space comprising 24,031 sq ft (2,232 sq m) is now being modified and re-cabled by Bizspace as part of the lease agreement.

Rental levels cannot be revealed at this stage, but Bizspace will feel justified in purchasing the building last year, at a time when supply levels were beginning to fall and rents were beginning to move towards £20.00 per sq ft once again.

Reassured employ around 250 staff in Alton at present, but have their sights set on continued expansion. They favoured the Basing View location over alternative options within out of town business parks, partly due to accessibility to the central amenities, but also because of the ‘funky’ improvement works planned for the communal areas in Belvedere House by Bizspace… more detail and photography on this to follow shortly.
